“Shapes in Motion are an integral part of the provision here at Staffordshire University in the Department of Media, Performance and Communication. Over the years they have worked across several courses including acting and animation, working excellently with students and the staff teams. They are completely reliable, prep excellently and deliver a fantastic student experience. I highly recommend Shapes in Motion”
Robert Marsden,
Head of the Department of Media, Performance and Communication, Staffordshire University
“Sarah's calm and informative approach to her lessons has helped the animation students become confident in their own performances which is crucial for their research. Studying a range of skills and techniques in areas that were very relevant to their units has also helped students observe from a different perspective. It has helped them come up with new ideas and approaches to their acting skills which have already transferred over to their work."
Daniel Dalli, Senior Lecturer/Animator, Ravensbourne
“Sarah provided a fantastic workshop combining an excellent balance of theory and practical work. Her passion for the subject area combined with warmth of personality made the workshop sessions comfortable, engaging all the students in the activities. The workshops enhanced and underlined in a practical context the importance of observation for all of our students as storytellers through movement."
Jodie Wick, Course Leader: BA (Hons) Animation, Norwich University of the Arts
